Acclaimed car brand Ferrari will celebrate an impressive milestone of 90 years in motorsport in 2019.
The marque plans to commemorate the occasion with a special anniversary exhibition at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.
A name to echo through the ages
The ’90 Years’ exhibition will showcase many of the finest racing cars taken to the track by Scuderia Ferrari over the last nine decades.
It all began on November 16th 1929 when Enzo Ferrari launched the brand and quickly came to prominence in some of the world’s most iconic racing formats.
Successes in the Mille Miglia, Targa Florio, Le Mans, Daytona and Spa all cemented the Scuderia Ferrari name as being synonymous with racing excellence.
In commemoration, the exhibition will showcase the very first model to sport the illustrious Prancing Horse logo – the Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Spider.
It will also include the latest Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 car to have been raced by Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen in 2018.
Running throughout the year and into 2020, the exhibition is a fitting tribute to one of the greatest names in global motorsport.
Jess Wort, marketing manager at Drivers Club News, comments: “Scuderia Ferrari is a name that every lover of racing will recognise. It’s a fitting tribute to the brand to see some of the finest racing cars from its rich history on display.”
