Jaw-dropping appeal for the McLaren 570S Spider

June 15, 2017driversclub

It's always a treat for everyone here at Petrol News when a new convertible is released by one of our favourite marques, and the new McLaren 570S Spider fits that bill perfectly!

Unveiled by McLaren earlier this month, the 570S Spider is a refinement of the brand's popular 570S Coupe and its appeal to all lovers of high-performance, good-looking vehicles is easy to see.

The 570S Spider achieves an impressive sprint from nought to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds, and its 3.8-litre V8 twin-turbocharged engine ensures a top speed of 204 mph.

This is a remarkable stat in itself, but when combined with the gorgeous outer shell and luxurious interior, the model truly enters the realm of the bona fide supercar.

At Petrol News, we love its sleek lines and hunkered appearance, giving the impression that the 570S Spider is going fast even when at a standstill!

What's more, the model will be making its global debut at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, so it promises to be another feather in the cap of the British automotive sector when the crowds get their first look, up close and personal, at the model later this month.

Stephen Hasley, brand manager at Petrol News, adds: "We have a real soft spot for fast cars and convertibles, so for McLaren to bring us yet another great car to add to that list, then who are we to complain!"
