Italian hypercar maker Pagani is marking its 20th anniversary this year, and it’s celebrating the milestone in style by taking some of its most iconic creations to the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Attendees will be able to get up close and personal with the models, before Pagani hosts an exclusive birthday party not far from the venue.
20 years of Paganis on display
It seems like only yesterday the new kid on the block burst on to the supercar scene with the Zonda, with its striking lines and stunning speed.
But in fact, it’s been 20 years since Pagani first showed up to challenge the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini.
To mark the occasion, almost 30 cars, including Zondas and Huayras, will make up a convoy heading from London to the festival on July 4th. A record 20 Zonda hypercars will then take on the famous Hillclimb at around 3pm.
Altogether, the cars taking part have a collective value of over £100 million, so fingers crossed they make it up the challenging course in one piece.
Five of the most significant Zondas will also be on static display for festivalgoers to admire.
These include the very first Zonda ever built and the 2018 Zonda Roadster, one of just three ever made and the world’s most expensive new car at launch at £15 million.
Steve Clarke, marketing manager at Drivers Club News, comments: “Pagani has quickly become one of the most iconic names in the hypercar market, and it’s amazing to think the brand is now 20 years old. No doubt watching so many Zondas heading up the famous Goodwood Hillclimb will be an incredible sight for the festival attendees.”
